This was the first book l read by Heather Shere!! The title and cover is what made me want to read this!! And what a gorgeous and sweet story this was!! Love the way that Sophia and Bo came together, it was heart warming!! Oh and Triton the dog was a hit for me!!
This book was so sweet and a fun read. I went into this book not knowing what to expect, but while reading I just felt happiness and refreshed throughout it. We are introduced to sweet, kind, beautiful and straight talking Sophia who has moved into a small country town after some tragedy and to fulfil a dream she always wanted. Due to a mishap, she happens to meet the sexy, closed off and unpredictable high school football coach Bo, sparks fly and undeniable attraction occurs. Problems arise and insecurities continue to surface which cause fractures between Sophia and Bo. When all is said and done, is Sophia willing to continue to fight for what her and Bo share? Can Bo get his act together before its all too late?? And can this book be any more sweeter?? Sophia's character was refreshing, she had everything together, she was sweet and kind and she said what she wanted to say, she was strong. Bo, even though he was a bit immature, he was strong, kind and loyal. If you are looking for a sweet, light hearted read, with a touch of drama and a whole lot of sexy chemistry, then this book is for you. Great work Heather :)

Excellent debut book & smoking hot cover I really enjoyed this sweet read from a new author. Well written with plenty of laughs, great dialogue and great chemistry. This is a sweet small town romance and I would definitely recommend to friends
A lovely little book about a sassy easy going woman and a slightly neurotic issue ridden male. Sophia moves to town bringing her own brand of sweet with her. With her large slightly unruly dog she bring a bit of drama and sunshine wherever she goes. Meeting Judy the vet in town gives her a very special friendship that adds previously unknown depth to her life. Bo carries the guilt of his actions 10 yrs ago. He avoids relationships, animals and making any lasting connections of any kind. That is until Triton refused to be ignored. Bo is already struggling with the spark between him and Sophia and Tritons interference only continues to push them together.
This is my first book by Heather Shere and I must say I'm a fan! I really enjoyed this book. It was funny and entertaining and kept me engrossed from beginning to end. Plus what's not to love when you have a hot guy and cute puppies involved plus my hubby calls me honey...lol OK,ok so hot guy is a douchecanoe at the beginning and doesn't like dogs but he has his reasons. Bo also has has his reason for trying to stay single with no commitments to anyone. But with his matchmaking sister and brother in law on top of the gorgeous new girl that moved in he's having trouble remembering his rules. Sophia is just looking to be closer to her mom and dad and living a sweet and simple life. Making her soaps and dog treats and of course having her honeys bees. Meeting Bo and his hot then cold attitude is getting tiresome but the spark that flows between them can't be ignored. The characters in this book are so well developed you get their backstory and you get a sense of who they are and where they are coming from. The secondary characters just pull this book together. Then the icing on this cake is the aanimals! I am a dog lover and enjoy books with them in it. This was a good read and I would definitely recommend it.
Fun read and the writing flowed making it an easy read. The lead male character, Bo, is flawed which is a nice break from the perfect romantic leading male. I was right with Sophia as she calls him an ass and a dick – he truly was acting like one. Even though he was those things, he was still a charming character that you root for. This is a “real-life” type of read, meaning not a fantasy romance that very rarely happens, but reads as how relationships really are. Sophia is a strong female who didn’t put up with Bo’s crap, called it as it is, and has a great outlook on life. Stealing the show is Sophia’s wonderful dog, Triton, who annoys and torments the hell out of Bo, but also helps bring him back to life. Told in alternating views of the two main characters which I loved. The author writes so that you feel the electric charge between the characters. A wonderful debut novel. I look forward to reading more from this author. *I was provided an ARC and am voluntarily writing a review.
Honey Bee stung me in the heart. This was a sweet, funny, heartwarming love story. I liked it a lot. The main characters were very likeable. The leading lady's dog, King Triton, was a Bernese Mountain Dog. I own two of them. King Triton's actions were spot-on! He made me laugh and think of my own two boys behaving the same way. At the beginning, I felt the book was moving a bit too slow for me...at the end, a bit too rushed, but overall, the book made me laugh, shed a few tears, and gave me that feel-good feeling when I finished, so for me that is a satisfying read. Two-thumbs up from me for Honey Bee!
