Horrible quality. The O-rings are thin, flat and stiff. Compared to other mechanical keyboard sound dampeners they are very poor quality. Even trying to double up on them didn't make them feel any better and just shortened key travel distance too much. I returned them and ordered different ones.
don't wast your money, they are very thin and do nothing to dampen the sound of the keys at all, I'm using cherry MX silent reds so the only sound I'm getting is the sound of the caps bumping against the switches as they bottom out and the difference is non existent after I put on these rings, would give 0 stars if that was a thing
Using Cherry MX brown switch keyboard YaFex and these dampeners do nothing. Put them on 4 keys and compared to non-dampened keys and there is no discernible different in feel or sound. Unfortunately will have to return these :(
these"Rings are Boo-Boo garbage, my board sounds as loud and i put 3 of that O "Rings in 1 Key and still sound the same.. spend ur money on something else, and i have blue switches so u know how loud they are, and 3 rings and nothing. Update well still sounds clicky, guess i am going to have to replace the key switch to either Black or Brown and and the O'rings see how quieter it can get
Installed these on the numeric keypad of my mechanical keyboard as a test because I use those keys the most in my job. There is zero difference in the feel or the amount of sound produced while typing. This was a waste of both my money and my time.
The photo for these o-rings seems to be copied from the similar Rosewill product. I used the Rosewill o-rings on my other keyboard and they are great. These are much thinner, so they still rather loud.
What a waste of my money. The sound dampening is not enough to make a difference. Also, it made the keys feel really mushy and requires more force to actuate. I took them off from my Ducky TKL (MX Browns) straight away.
