Disappointing. It is light and fluffy but 'angst' was thrown in almost like an experimental afterthought. It held no depth or suspense and it could have been so much more than it was. Having read Maris Black's "Kage" series, this book is a pale, insipid comparison, unfortunately.
Loved this book it held my interest from page one. The characters were well rounded and interesting. I have read both these authors books and was surprised by their coming together as they are so different but it worked well. The only criticism I have is that the plot against the boys was somewhat weak. Still a great read and I hope they team up again soon.
