To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
To view writing therapy as a new concept would be ridiculous. Anyone who writes already knows it's therapeutic qualities. The author even states this at the beginning, yet continues as though it it is something new.
Ok so for those people who think it it is new, I continued reading. Anytime I purchase a book I expect to get something for the money. Truthfully, the only thing that I found useful was a small section at about 70% where we are given hands on practical exercises to help ourselves.
The book is repetitive, so if you think you read that same sentence before, you aren't crazy - you did. In one instance the exact sentence said the same way appeared on the same page only a paragraph down. This, and some typos would lead me to believe that another edit would be of be great benefit for future versions. All in all, some good thoughts for those who need prompting to write down feelings.
