It was OK. Set up took a long time in comparison to game play time. Could make it better by having $2 and $5 notes. We modified the rules as the ones provided meant the game was over before everyone had gone around the board once. The rule that payment of rent is the same as purchasing is restricting the gameplay. This should be modified for future games.
My 6-year old grandsons love this game. It is a simplified version of the adult game making it easier for them to follow. The property names are also well suited to younger players. A game will typically last about 30 minutes which is long enough for kids. Cash is all in units of 1 and property costs and rent are low so money transactions are easier for that age group to manage and is good for them to practice basic arithmetic.
This is a nicely simplified version that kids can gate that hang of fairly quickly and adults can enjoy with them. Owning property and receiving rent gives a good introduction to the full game later on. My daughter aged 5 and a half really enjoys it. Like so many things it is very over packaged.
