Not horrible but a bit too slow and very corny. The first chapter was interesting, the second chapter was somewhat boring with far too much detail of her parents and Aunt so I skipped ahead to the third chapter. From then on it was a pleasant enough read but the H wasn't believable as a Prince the h wasn't believable as someone from a trailer park. Then there was that boat accident. At first, I thought maybe it was going to be a kidnap attempt and we were going to get some real adult drama but nothing came of it so it felt tacked on. Not sure why it was there except to pad things out. A whole lot more plot could have been developed once they got to the palace but that whole section felt like a Disney movie, very corny and unbelievable. The far too long and detailed sex scenes took away the sweet factor making it unsuitable for the young audience it seemed to be aimed at. Without those scenes, I would have thought a young teenager without much knowledge of the world had written it. With those scenes removed it would make a sweet teenage book.
Did you love Cinderella when you were growing up? Who doesn’t love a good Royal Romance? I do.. this is a great book.
My disclaimer... I was given a copy of this book for my honest review. Any book or novels I leave reviews on are not dependent on the book/novel review author’s opinion. No one influenced my voluntary review for any of the books or novels I read, they are my own opinions
I have now read quite a few of Krista's books and I believe it's safe to say that she is definitely the Queen of romance.
This is another beautifully written love story. I loved the characters so much, you could feel the heat coming off the pages. Yes, the story does sound a little like Cinderella in retrospect but I didn't feel that while I read the book. It was just Marco, Sabrina and me.
I would recommend just about anything this author writes, as her standard of writing is kept rather high. This is a light hearted romantic read and you feel so satisfied when you've finished reading.
