This book instantly had me hooked. I felt terrible for Sidney's start in life and I loved her relationships with her foster brother Conor and her future husband Jake. Jake was a wonderful character! I also liked the timeline and how it progressed really quickly.
The only think stopping me from giving this book a complete five stars is I found there was a lot (and I mean A LOT) of talking about feelings. At first I thought it was just how Jake was (some guys are talkers about their feelings), but then it was the same thing with Abel.
I did really like Sidney as a character though. She was really strong and determined and just generally likable. All in all it was a pretty good book and I'm glad I read it.
