Entertaining story, well written. The female main character, Elinor, was a little more eccentric than some, which also made her more human and relatable than the cookie-cutter characters described in many novels. I liked how she dealt with past hurt and the resulting fear that held her back, as the story progressed. Both main characters were challenged and grew in their faith and this aspect was well written and dealt with in a realistic and satisfying manner.
Very realistic hurricane threat leads the main characters to face some important personal issues. Great to read of some less than perfect personalities with a touch of humour and sense of trust in god's care, despite facing real struggles in their lives.
