this book is filled with mysteries from the missing houseboat to the case of jessica's missing cereal. but friday has suspicions about the skilless camp councellors who she knows definently has something to hide. Add potato peeling and lots of excitement to the mix!
In the sixth book in the Friday Barnes series, Friday and her fellow students are sent away to camp. At camp they are divided into four groups and Friday finds herself in the group that is at the very bottom of the camp totem pole and they seem to spend most of their time digging holes for latrines and peeling potatoes. Fun, fun, fun. Of course, mystery follows Friday wherever she goes and she is still solving more than her fair share of campers mysteries and then there's the big mystery: why do the camp counsellors seem to know nothing at all about surviving in the wilderness and why are they sleepy all the time?
Like all the Friday Barnes books, 'Danger Ahead' is a humorous and charming story and Friday Barnes is a wonderful character. I hope there will be many more in this series.
