This reminds me of the toy telephones that were around when I was younger. I bought this for my toddler who loves to anything noisy that he can drag around. He's enjoying this toy so far and I love that he's learnt to put it to his ear to pretend to talk on an 'old school' device. It's colourful and sturdy. I'd recommend it.
My kid sister had an earlier version of this telephone as a baby, 50+ years ago. She dragged it all around the house, "talking" on it (especially whenever my mum was on the real 'phone), and I just sent it to my newborn first cousin twice removed -- my cousin's daughter's daughter -- in Australia. She's too little to play with it just yet, but bright and inquisitive--so I know it won't be long before it becomes her best toy friend, too.
This toy has been around for years my own children had it now I am buying it again for my grand children Its a very good way of getting them use to talking on the phone. Plus they can pull it along on the string attached.
