A light bright Christmas novel, just the thing to raise your spirits as we weather the serious situation with Covid19. Holly and Ivy are believable sisters watching each others backs. We all feel the cold of the snow and the sights of the Christmas Market. Love wins out, and the baddies lose and the kids have a ball in the snow. An enjoyable read for anyone who enjoys a good romance.
This has got to be my favourite book in the Hideaway Down series, focusing on Lucas and Rachel who are complete strangers thrown in to each other’s arms by raging storms, a mad dog and an ankle injury. I loved it. Previous Hideaway Down characters appear in this book as well, they are warm and welcoming, listening and giving good advice. Loved it Emily, perhaps a Hideaway Down revisit might be in order one day, let’s see what the lovely folk are up to now.
Good story, the countryside is obviously a healing place and for new friends to be made. It is amazing what a close community can bring people together. Two people take their holiday in a small village from the big city, and how their relationship grows. A lovely story well worth a read. Another good book from Emily Harvale
Loved this book, although part of a series each can be read as stand alone, but if you read them all it builds up the "family" feel of the village. As always Emily manages to hook you into the book straight from the start. As the book is set in the Autumn it is a cuddle up and escape book. Love it
