Catherine Bybee is a unique and special author. There are few authors that can write steamy romances that feel sweet and tug at your heartstrings. In this, the third book in her “Most Likely” series Catherine Bybee gives us another wonderful heartfelt story based on a friendship sisterhood that has stood the test of time. I absolutely loved Catherine Bybee’s "Making It Right”, in fact, it's my favourite in a great series. The series is about 3 high school friends Mel, Zoe, and Jo from a small town named River Bend.
“Making It Right” gives the rebel of River Bend - Jo Anne Ward her very own happy ending as she finally puts closure to the mystery surrounding her father’s death. After being named most likely to go to jail in high school the last place Jo thought she'd be is in her hometown of River Bend as the current Sheriff. After her father passed away at a young age she felt she owed it to him to continue in his footsteps however she's desperate for some action. When she signs up for special training at the Quantico FBI facilities she doesn't know what will come of it but what she didn't expect was meeting badass sexy FBI agent Gill Clausen and just how important he would become to so much more than her job.
All the books in this series tug at the heartstrings & you are cheering for a happy ending. Jo’s story pulls you in and you are cheering for her to finally let her walls down. I am hoping we have not heard the last of River Bend because when Catherine Bybee writes a book, it always provides a wonderful escape to this readers life! 5 Stars.
I really enjoyed reading this book as part of an ongoing series set in the North Western area of USA - the characterisation works well and is tight - although you think you know how it's going to pan out in the end - the novelist keeps you guessing and making you work to the final settling of scores - and then you realise that you hadn't really suspected just who the villain really was - all this added to a feel good romance .
I like well her Detroy lines in her novellas just enough mystery to keep One hooked though I worked this one out rather quickly so no surprises but a lovely qsuick relaxing read I'm an eternal romantic so enjoyed thus one as all The previous ones
This is the fourth book by this author that I have read and I enjoyed it. Read it in two sittings. Not as predictable as I thought it would be with gutsy lead characters. I would recommend to anyone wanting to while away a few hours in a pleasant story.
TO THE READERS OF THE FIRST AND SECOND BOOKS OF THE MOST LIKELY SERIES BY CATHERINE BYBEE, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED IN THE LAST BOOK, I FOUND THE STORYTELLING, INTERESTING , NEVER BORED THROUGHOUT THE 3 BOOKS.
This one is!!! 3 great romances. Loved the lead female characters in all 3 books. Great follow on, which tied up all the loose ends quite nicely. And to top it off, the villain was totally unexpected! A very good romance novel as well as a top "Whodunnit". Sincerest congratulations to the author.
This was a fabulous end to the Most likely to series. The characters were so well thought out and the plot kept me switching from one murderer to another. A particularly good ending. Thank you Catherine
