Another enjoyable instalment to this series. I really look forward to these books. I think what stopped it from being 5 stars was the lack of heat between the two main characters, yep they had a bond and have known each other for years, but I guess I wanted some fireworks along the way. Also what bugged me a tad was how easy it was for the H to remove his collar, yep I get it was new but still it seemed to easy and convenient, minor issues. Great continuation of the plot and I enjoyed the deeper look into fairie and the new characters there, especially Aisling, I feel we shall see more of her in future books! Great seeing previous characters, especially Dylan, Ben, Zander and of course my favourite Tiger, I soak all those parts up!!!! I didn't really get a sense of who may be next in the series but it really wont matter as I will be one-clicking it as soon as I can!!! Overall a very enjoyable addition to the series that I found hard to put down..
Slow at the beginning due to repetition about the shifters and their lives. Good for new readers but boring for those who have been with these characters from the start. Great action with lots happening. Like Jaycee but don’t love her due to previous actions in another book and also her dragging her heels in accepting Dimitri’s mate claim. Very frustrating, but she does do everything to save Dimitri’s life in Faerie. Love Tiger, Dylan and Zander getting some action too by racing to the rescue. So interesting meeting more levels of the Fae and finding out more about their society. So sad about Dimitri’s parents but glad he gets his memories and closure. Loved having Ben and the sentient house from Wild Things in this story.
