I was excited to read this book especially with the Olympics having been on. I haven't read anything from this author before, but I really really loved. There was so much detail and that was exciting and learning something new is something i enjoy when reading a book about a sport I don't know. I loved the chemistry with the characters and the story just flowed and so easy to read. I would highly recommend this book and well done Carrie Aarons you now have another fan, can't wait to get into your other novels.
I've got to admit, I got strong Scoring Wilder vibes from this book. I don't know if it's just because they share common themes but I did. I felt this was a solid book but missed some of the big moments. I'd like to have seen the boom start with Natalia's accident. I also would've flashed that out more, it seems it was solved very easily when I'm not sure it would be. I also would've liked to have seen more conflict with Novac. I felt too much was made of the relationship between Spencer and Natalia and not enough on the stuff that had an effect on their relationship. I also felt that Natalia's description of her personality didn't match up with her actions. But overall, I did enjoy this book, even if some of the technical aspects were beyond me. I'm also looking forward to the rest of the series. Reviewed for 2rsblog.blogspot.com
Carrie Aarons you are going to the head of the class woman! Great writing, great characters, awesome slow burn between the two mains! I adored Nat and Spence! There were so likeable, they had chemistry and they fought and they loved with such passion! They lived and breathed gymnastics and that passion seemed to roll seamlessly throughout their lives. This book was everything and then some! I adore this author, I have read all her books and this once was the start to a new series that is equally as awesome as her other books!!!!! Loved this! 5 stars and then some more!!!
I love reading about Athlete sport romances, the whole chip on their shoulder and thinking they are the best. I loved this book because it was about gymnastics, as a little girl I would always dream of doing what they could and to finally read a romance novel about it, my dreams came true. (in a sense.) Natalia is sassy while Spence is loveable, their characters was a great combination. What better way then to kick off the Olympic Games then a book about it!
