The further I progressed in this series the more I enjoyed it. It had intrigue and emotive moments and I really found myself not wanting to put it down and the characters matured as the story progressed. There were aspects of the writer's style that I didn't enjoy, particularly in some parts where I felt it jumped from one thing to another with nothing bridging the events. It's like talking to someone who switches topics regularly without warning. Left my head spinning a little. I'd stop and make sure I didn't miss reading a para or something. Thankfully this seemed to resolve itself as the story progressed. I also found the dialogue a little immature sometimes but that was balanced out with some laugh out loud dialogue that was witty. I also felt that Ezra's character became a little too sickly sweet for a while compared to how his character was originally portrayed. I was a really confused by the ending. I must have missed something? However none of this stopped me from thoroughly enjoying the book and it was well priced, hence my 5 stars.
It was interesting and clever. Very good world building and characters. It kept me reading. There were bits that were very annoying though - like when the hero was being a totally arrogant jackass and the heroine a lust addled fool, but other than that, I enjoyed it.
This trilogy will blow your mind as it is vastly different from any other paranormal book that you will have read. I will admit they are lengthy reads but I was so consumed by Lily and Ezra, that I really didn’t want to put them down - going so far as to wake in the middle of the night to sneak an extra chapter or two in! Great read, you won’t regret it:)
Yes I brought them separately, but they were out before the box set. So ya know? These books started a love affair with me that I have never been able to shake, this sounds like a good thing yes? No it's not especially when the hangover is so bad you can not enjoy any other book for months and months because compared to the forever evermore series everything just seems mediocre or immature. This series quickly soared to number one ranking in my favourites, beating out Harry Potter. Oh. My. Gosh. That's right Harry Potter. Lily had to overcome a lot of fear and heartbreak through these books endured life trials and massive changes. She is fierce, loyal and strong. Her story is a journey you want to be a part of. Trust me.
Scarlett Dawn - these are my FAVOURITES out of all the books that she has written so far! Not only does she keep you guessing, she keeps it interesting, something that the books of late that I have been reading haven't!
