As an avid Ryan Michele reader, I was devastated when she announced that this book would be her final instalment of the series. Actually I cursed her profusely!!! However, this book gives you the answers to everything. Starting with Buzz & Breakers stories, what makes them tick to finding out who has been behind all of the madness and mayhem that has been thrown at the Ravage MC family. Captivate me gives you multiple POV's which brings the entire series together, which will take you on one hell of a rollercoaster ride. There are so many twists and turns, that had me feeling so many emotions. I went from holding my breath, to screaming, to laughing to bawling my eyes out. Not forgetting those hot panty soaking scenes we’ve come to love from Ryan!!! Whilst this is the end of the Ravage story, I can guarantee that this series will stay forever in my heart
Not one to normally write a review, As I'm a reader not a writer... But this book was AMAZING loved it could not put it down. Tied everything from all the previous books together and blew my mind how the author came up with the whole story line and tied it all together 5+++++ stars
I was fortunate enough to receive and ARC of Captivate Me. This is my first ever (Gasps*) written review so apologies in advance for any messiness lol. I also couldn’t think of a better book to be my first (*smirks*).
I’ve been on the Ravage MC roller-coaster from the very beginning. To say Ryan Michele finished the series with a bang is a huge understatement! I’m going to try my best to explain all the awesomeness that Captivate Me is without giving any spoilers or details
It’s actually been 3 days since I finished Captivate Me and I am still on the high that is the final of the Ravage MC. The book picks right up from where Inflame me left us and let me tell you I was hooked straight away. I was hooked so much I finished the book in a few hours (which isn’t unusual for any of Ryan’s Books). Captivate me will take you on an incredible ride and the name of the book it suitably named because it truly does Captivate you. I went through a range of emotions that went from anticipation, intrigue, love, happiness, shock, anger, surprise, disbelief, horror, worry, calm and giddiness……. You get the idea lol.
This final book was everything I imagined it would be and more! It was an amazing series final and for those who are lucky enough or even contemplating pre-ordering I would highly suggest to do it, for not just the final book but also for those special bonus epilogues ( *lovingly sighs*). All though I was somewhat saddened that the Ravage MC is completed I know it will always be a re-read series I could visit again and again. Captivate Me left me feeling good with how the series ended (which isn’t an often occurrence with most book series I read). The book is told from multiple POV’s which I also really enjoyed because we got to be inside each POV’s head. Although it’s the final in the series I also look forward to Ryan Michele’s other series/new releases she has coming out since I have a feeling I will have a big book hangover until the crossover of Ryan Michele’s Viper’s Creed MC series crossover with Chelsea Cameron’s Hellion’s Ride Series is released.
An awesome ending to a great series, sad it is ending, but what a way to go! Wow, so Captivate me starts up where Inflame me left off and is the last book in the Ravage MC series--wraps up the story with a neat little red bow. You get to see almost all the characters from previous books in this story and you get Buzz and Breakers' stories. The book is told from multiple POV which surprisingly wasn't confusing-- which did concern me at first.
The book is a combination of Buzz and Breakers' stories and wrapping up the story. Buzz is the wilder, more outspoken of the twins-- he's on the more alpha/dominant side. Breaker is the quiet, dark one, with a very scarred past. I loved being able to read their stories and their HEA's. I wish we would have gotten more of Breaker's back story, but I'm thinking due to the dark theme's involved that some readers would have been put off. Dark theme's or not I like the back stories on the characters-- that is about the biggest/only criticism I have.
I love when I get to see past characters, and though there was lots of angst in this book, it all worked out in the end. Plus you get a pinch of cross-over with the Vipers Creed MC series....
Though I am sad to see this series go, luckily Ryan Michelle has a mess of other series that I really enjoy (more like all of them :) )!!
