Decent book - good solid foundations for how to invest and get ahead. Choose index funds (shares / bonds), pick a ratio that reflects your risk profile (shares heavy pre-retirement, more bonds as you get older), take advantage of any tax-advantaged savings/investment opportunities, be vigilant and monitor your position regularly.
As an Australian, about a third of the book was not relevant - focused on the specifics of US tax scenarios rather than general principles.
If you are starting at your journey then this book is worthwhile to highlight (as the title implies), a simple and easy to follow approach to getting on top of your finances. If you have read a few FI books then this is reiterate the same principles as others will espouse.
