Phil Collins probably doesn't get the respect and kudos that he deserves and clearly craves, but after reading this others may be a bit more generous in their views (except his ex wives maybe). I can't think of any other musician in popular music who had such sustained success as a solo performer side by side with his band Genesis. Very interesting anecdotes about the Beatles A Hard Days Night, George Harrison's All Things Must Pass, Led Zeppelin, Live Aid and faxgate. Told with honesty and humour, it's a great read.
A very enjoyable read. Phil sets a cracking pace but sometimes this leads to frustration as I would have enjoyed a more in-depth look at his time in Genesis instead of his constant whining about his ex-wives.
