I've had a Nikon D500 since 2016. This one replaced one I inadvertently broke when I lost my balance crossing a creek.
I can't fault the D500. It is easy to use, comfortable in my hands, and easy to use with just one hand if needed. The screen is versatile and helpful for shots when I just can't get low enough myself. The image quality is fantastic with high enough megapixels to make cropping feasible. Being able to shoot at 10 frames per second makes it wonderful for wildlife photography, and in particular, birds. A good XQD card is a must if you're going to be shooting that fast, though.
