I really like these socks! They come right to the knee (I'm 5'1" - don't know if they'd be shorter for taller women) and are warm. It is true that each pair has a strange clashing color at the toe seam, but it doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would. The only beef I have with these socks is that they are not all created equal. Different colors fit differently; for example, the brown and grey socks stretch out almost immediately, meaning that once you wear them inside boots, pull off the boot, then try to put the boot back on, the foot of the sock is stretched out and it's difficult to "stuff" it back in the shoe since the heel of the sock is no longer on your heel. The brown and grey are also not very pretty. However, the cranberry, navy, and black colors are pretty colors with flecks of other colors throughout, and normal when it comes to stretching. No problem with any of them as far as staying up to the knee - I don't spend all day pulling them up. Great product for the price and I will be wearing these socks all winter (northern Missouri - gets to be pretty darn cold here!) I might purchase more of these so I have one for every day of the week.
Socks are very soft and they fit to my knees just where I wanted them to be. I have good size calves ( 15" ) wanted knee socks that would fit comfortably and these do. The only reason I gave them a 4 star rating is because of the 5 pair package that I bought 1 pair was not the same length, but does fit good as well. They all fit to the same height on my legs . I'm very happy with my knee socks and will be very happy in the dead of our Western Michigan winters. I have included a picture.
411 for people with bigger feet ( size 12 ladies). It’s difficult to find winter socks that you can wear with skinny jeans and boots that you can scrunch down to get that Pinterest chic look, I’ve ordered others and my feet are just too big, and everything looks like a crew sock. I’ve tried looking at men’s socks but I ended up looking like a lumberjack... got these in the mail, super super soft, more of a cotton feel and pretty thin so I’m going to say not snow appropriate, but great for fall. The sock fits my ginormous foot BUT as I expected does NOT go over my calf and that’s okay for me because that wasn’t the mission anyway!
I wish they were thicker, but this is the first time in forever I found a knee sock that 1) fit my let (I lost a lot of weight) and b) stay up. They aren't super tight either. They are good quality, attractive and pretty good in boots. I have a narrow foot so I could use a bit more warmth and bulk.
