Cole and Sunshines story is Christmas magic with a few little bumps in the road it was a great I really enjoyed it.
As usual Cora Seton has written a good story about real people. Of course, I’m pretty certain that this is a western fantasy romance. Maybe if you’re born and grow up in a small town there would that kind of support network but I wonder what it would be like for total strangers who moved there? Still a lovely story.
This story seems to round up the previous books in this series. We learn of marriages, relationships, careers and children. The couples whose lives we have shared band together when two friends return from travelling around the world. The welcome and warmth that they show, reminds the reader of the kindness and joy that can be experienced at all times of the year. I have read the other books in this series and enjoyed them. This Christmas story just adds the star on top of the tree type of feelings to the reader. I received this book as a gift, and voluntarily review it here. My favourite Christmas story so far.
I always thoroughly enjoy reading anything by Cora and this was no exception! I was so looking forward to seeing the continuation of Cole and Sunshine story and further exploring their relationship. Going through misunderstanding and lack of direct communication takes these two through the ringer but their love for each other and support of their friends always wins out. This story left me feeling good and happy to have updates on all the other couples as well! I adore this world of Chance Creek!
***I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review***
This is a really, really great series. I read them all in a week. I just couldn't put them down. A terrific plot idea, with very relevant themes and hilarious twists and turns. Lots of love, laughter, a bit of suspense, and some hunky hunky men - what more could a girl want? Cora Seton writes so well, and every book is really engaging.
