Justice or vengeance what lengths would you go to after surviving hell but losing the one you love.
talk about a tangled web of vengeance The Boat Man was a gripping thriller I couldn't put down I love Reed and Billie they are wonderful partners and they will build into more the longer they are together, it was a great story to begin this series and I am looking forward to more.
The tension in this book does not let up. There is no evident violence of crime but rather the curiosity that lies beneath each one. The end of the book left me wondering about concepts of forgiveness and justice. Rarely if ever does the expression of justice consider the emotion that seeks it. It has nothing to do with forgiveness and at times forgiveness is a response that some simply cannot make. This book is riveting in a quiet way that makes it hard to put down.
How can you go wrong with a man and a dog. And not just any dog a lovely black dog.I very much enjoy this authors writing . The stories unfold in my head like my own private movie. The characters are clear and even in this the first book in the series they show themselves able to grow in a manner that lbodes well for future stories.
Another fantastic thriller from the author Dustin Stevens. Dead bodies are turning up in the bottoms. Detective Reed Maddox and his canine partner Billie are called in to investigate the horrific murder scenes. Reed has been working the grave yard shift since his former partner died. Reed and Billie are a formidable team as they hunt a killer! Page turning suspense.
