Wow. Not entirely sure how to review this one. Firstly, a hot cowboy rancher as the main character, plus he owns a sex club? A very interesting concept. But lets be honest, you had me at the word cowboy. Not to mention the fact that Luke Bryan is mentioned in the first few sentences of chapter one. *swooonn* Once I got into it, I enjoyed the storyline in this one and the relationship between Woolf and Callie, and while I started out thinking this reminded me a little of Fifty Shades (no, not in the storyline, just in the way its a kinky novel - this is nothing like good old Fifty.), I soon realised this was a totally different concept. The sex club idea isn't a bad one, but I wasn't too into the who being watched and participating with others thing. I found those scenes interesting but not as enjoyable as the ones where it was just Callie and Woolf. I enjoyed watching Callie learn to discover herself and if she wanted to be "new Callie" or "old Callie" and who each of those sides of her was. Woolf's relationship with Bridger is quite the interesting one, and I'm glad that some of it got explained towards the end, but I would definitely like to learn more about him and a book about him would be great I think. Obviously the ending of the book leaves it open for the next in the series to be about another character, and that was certainly an interesting chapter. I was guessing at what was going on the whole time until I realised what was actually happening. All in all this was a quick and sexy read, although it did have some aspects I wasn't quite sure about.
This was my first ever Sawyer Bennett novel & I'm damn certain it will not be my last!!
This book was so wickedly delicious that I devoured it! Woolf is one hell of a sexy beast who has a massive & varried sex drive. Callie is the sweet girl next door, the little sister of the best friend. Woolf has denied her & himself more than once but their chemistry sizzles & he finds himself unable to stay away from her. But will they be able to overcome all to have their HEA? You'll have to read it yo find out.
If you like your romance books to have s little spice with a lot of risqué, then this is thr book for you.
So you have a man Woolf introduced into a lifestyle by his friend Bridger (who will make one hell of a book, disappointed it's not there yet). Wicked was their dream. Enter sweet innocent Callie, his late friends sister, who's had a long time crush on him. She recovering from a cheating fiancé & returns home. Doesn't help she's the Governors daughter either. When working for him she discovers his secret, from then on you're in for one hell of a ride, no pun. Lol. Then he has a choice to make.
I enjoyed this & will make an interesting sexy series. Bring on Bridger please.
I liked the fact that there was a story line in this novel; so many writers get side tracked by making sure that the book is full of steamy sex scenes that they forget about the plot. The "corruption" of innocent Callie was well done and the ending was happy despite some setbacks I was a little put out by the last (fairly random) chapter which was obviously included in order to continue the series. . I would be interested to read Bridger's story!
I was super happy to see this book in my kindle this morning and I was definitely happy when I finished reading it. I really liked the premise of this story and I am looking forward to the next book. Sawyer Bennett never fails to deliver a superb story with hot scenes and hot characters. It was easy to give 5 stars.
