Martin and Claire are looking forward to their vacation at Tonga. But a call from their boss Gavin, head of the Strange and Obscure Cases unit informs them that they will be spending a working vacation at Sandy Point. A covert CIA agent has been murdered and they need answers. Also Young women have gone missing along the Ninety-Mile Beach at a regular and alarming rate. Most of them from Sandy Point. Plus he wants a background check on Robert Herrick, a man who may be involved in drug running. The author up fronts lets you know what is going on and who did what. Who the bad guys are, etc.. With that said it doesn’t take away from the book. You are so engrossed in what is going on you don’t realize time has passed and you’re on the last page. Yes, this book is that good! I do feel a need to put up a warning, there are plenty of graphic rape scenes through-out the book and violence. Considering who does the raping and violence it fits the books bad guys. Hence keeping it real. This is an awesome read and I recommend it to all who love a good suspense novel.
The Oz Files: Intrigue at Sandy Point was fantastic. I think that this book was just as good as the first in this series, Broometime Serenade, which with many books is not the case. This one has so much adventure and excitement that you never know what's coming on the next page. I really love these books and how he puts a spin on the normal murder mystery with witches and warlocks mixed in. This book could stand on its own, since it explains what happened in the last book, but as a series it's fantastic. These are definitely high on my list of must reads!

In the midst of all the chaos, an old foe with a vengeance reappears and throws even more kinks in their plan. Will they be able to solve the mystery and stop the terrorists?
It leaps right into the action. Adventure, mystery, murder and mayhem! Not for the faint of heart. It does have acts of rape in this book. So if you can't stomach reading it, this book is not for you. Martin and Claire get a new assignment looking into the death of a sleeper agent from the USA. But also a billionaire who they suspect is into more than just drug runs but need the proof to put him away. But with every twist and turn, someone is either kidnapped or murdered. Who, what, when and why are all the questions, but no answers can be found. Will they get the answers they need and their man behind bars?
