If you are new with reading self growth book, then this is good to start of with. I have read similar references elsewhere, so therefore some information was useful. Focusing on a few key points that gets a bit repetitive. I enjoyed watching Amy on TED Talks, hence the reason why I purchase this book. To get the most out of this book, make sure to pause and reflect back on what you have read.
I was expecting this book to cover a wider range of strategies on maintaining presence than what it did. The 'power posing is good' point is made within the first few chapters. The rest of the book seems to be solely dedicated to substantiating this claim and giving anecdotal examples of where power posing has helped people. Thoroughly researched, and there's some interesting content, however if you're just after the self improvement aspect, save yourself some time and watch the TED talk instead.
