This book had all the elements that I love in a regency romance - likeable characters, wit and humour, romance, a little angst, and of course, a lovely happy ever after. It was well written, had memorable characters, was a clean read (just a few kisses), and contained religious references that weren't too obnoxious. Definitely a recommended read and I can't wait to start on the rest of the books in the series!
This was an easy read and very enjoyable. It flowed beautifully, Amelia is a lovely character, her respect of all people especially servants was touching. How they rallied to support her in her hours of need was well done.
A wonderfully written book and it held my interest throughout. There is always a moral to these historical novels and the interaction between the characters was excellent. Will read more of this author.
