In our daily lives, we are bombarded with negativity. We can’t live with our heads in the sand so we need to face all the negativity. Medical specialists even believe that negative thinking can affect our physical health. It makes sense. If you are constantly worried or you believe things will turn out badly, whether in your professional or personal life, it can surely affect your physical health. Your negative thinking will affect the ultimate outcome. Using the simple tools in this book you will learn how to use positive affirmation to visualize and work toward a positive outcome in all situations. Everyone should read this book; use it as a reference. That’s what I do with Albert’s books. After reading them, I go back and re-read and reference sections so that employing the valuable techniques become automatic. Click on the “Look Inside” link. After reading the first two chapters you will already feel more positive. But there is so much more inside the book.
I have read several of Justin Albert’s motivational, self-help books, including “Motivation: Getting Motivated, Feeling Motivated, Staying Motivated,” “Boost Your Self-Confidence: A 21-Day Challenge to Help You Achieve Your Goals,” and “Live Well and Career Development The Essentials of Effective Career Planning and Development.” Each one of them has helped me in my personal and professional life. So when “Positive Thinking: How To Think Positive” was published, I knew it had to be part of my reference library. Albert has done it again, that is, he has written and published another valuable work that everyone should read.
I love this book, I’m a great believer of positive thinking and this book about positive thinking is so inspirational. The author suggests some very simple techniques that encourage you to turn your negative thoughts around to positive thoughts. I used to do positive affirmation a few years ago, but somehow I drifted away from the habit. But after reading this book I feel motivated to start again, because I know it works. This is a wonderful book that can heal your mind.
This is the type of book more readers need to check out. Positive Thinking is critical for our happiness and this Positive Thinking book is critical for us to get to that path. We are our own worst enemies. We doubt ourselves. We question and talk ourselves out of decisions. We are the only thing blocking our path to greatness, to success, and to happiness. This book will help you turn that negativity off and use Positive Affirmations to become a better person. Highly recommended.
Found some interesting strategies here, including focusing on the feelings aroused from comparative analysis to others, using a third instead of first person self-reference when faced with tense situations, and other good bits of information, including a lot of focus on the benefit of visualizations and types of visualizations that can be performed. A good positive thinking workbook to check out, has my recommendation.
This books offers some great insights on shifting one's mindset, to focus and direct energy towards the positive. I recently started learning about affirmations and abundance, and this book is timely. It has some practical and simple guidance on what affirmations can look like for different aspects of our lives, life relationships, work, wealth etc. There is also ample information about what affirmations are and how they work. The icing on the cake for me is the 21 day affirmation challenge, and I am on day 7 of it. It's a great resource.
This is a fascinating and timely book. With all that is going on in the world, it is easy to let negative thoughts get the better of us. But it doesn't have to be that way. Following the steps in this book and generating and practising your own positive affirmations can lead you to a happier and more fruitful way of life.
