What a storm!
27 March 2019
Every book of Mr Nuttall's that I've read displays class in writing abilities. And what a storm he's cooked up in this first novel of the 'Angel in the Whirlwind" series. Characters are well developed:- some likable, others not so, some pretentious, some driven, some worthy of scorn, some deserving of pity. Plot threads are cast out then skillfully woven together. Societies are compared and contrasted, but none are perfect, though one is preferable to others. The battles fought appear realistic and not open to one fortuitous event after another.
Reading this book was like coming back to an old friend. Very highly recommended.
