I'm a big fan of the author. I regard Daniel as a great systems thinker. This book is full of of great insights that lays out a system for getting clients that stands out from the typical build a list, send automated emails etc etc. As with Daniel's two previous books this one is highly practical, has great case studies, and I found myself implementing the ideas in my own way particularly on the second read.
I've been a marketer for many years and Daniel Priestley and his team make more sense and have achieved way more for themselves and for their clients than anyone I know. Not only does Daniel provide outstanding advice, peppered with lots of very interesting case studies and examples, it is a beautiful read. Beautifully written. Am already rethinking and adjusting my marketing and operations . . . Thank you to the KPI founders for everything. Daniels books should all be compulsory reading for marketing degree courses, and especially for MBAs, as his advice is more practical and helpful than all of the stuffy, boring, outdated text books we were told to read.
Oversubscribed is a 11/10 book which I have next to my bed.... written by one of the most inspired Australian disruptors I know Daniel Priestley- OS sets out the process FRAMEWORK of the why, how and what of-WHY people who love the entrepreneurial spirit- leverage and scale that spirit for others to share and become over TIME raving fans. The process of over subscribed gives investors and founders the real value which global markets are seeking value from. This great read offers insights as to the what factor as to the whys and why less than 1/20 restaurants offers what I call the buzz vibration and value factor. Its the buzz 'over subscribe factor' brings customers back as raving fans and set them apart. This single book is a today a BUZZ favorite classic which is a MUST for all startups or intending micropreneurs who seek their time back. Its that TIME. Chris Wakeford.com
