Liked it, didn’t love it!
5 November 2018
I wanted to love this book, the plot alone is one that would usually suck me in and have me on the edge of my seat, but there were a few things combined throughout that annoyed me a little and made it difficult to keep going.
I found it hard to really feel that strong connection between Jaxson and Bailey, having events told from both sides really would have helped with this I feel. Though randomly, toward the end of the book we do hear from Jaxsons point of view and by then I’m a bit confused and keep thinking it’s Bailey haha
Few little things irked me, like once Bailey is being tormented she could have tried changing her number right away. Just one of the many smaller things that together made made me think there are a few characters in this story that are either far fetched or a little daft! Super predictable, especially toward the end. It was also a little strange to be reading about a brutal rape one minute, and then a saucy sex scene the next.
