We thought it'd be a great idea to get our wedding guests to take a snap or selfie and stick it in the guestbook. I was tossing up between the Instax 300 Wide and the Instax Mini 90 Neo, but if you're going to be taking selfies in groups the wide is probably the way to go.
Construction wise, it feels a little plasticky and cheap. But then for a camera it is pretty cheap. We first used it indoors taking some (expensive) shots of ourselves and the cat. For the most part they came out OK but you'll be pretty annoyed when the exposure or lighting isn't right...it's always a relatively expensive mistake!
I'd recommend this camera for people that want the novelty of polaroids popping out quick but need a wider lens for landscapes, group shots, and so on. It's strange to think there are a bunch of kids now who have never played with a polaroid or film camera, so if you're one of these kids, maybe buy one so you can understand how different it was in the days before digital.
I have only had the chance to take 2 images with this camera. Within 3 months it has already stopped working. I have tried changing batteries but I am still getting an error message pop up. It's a shame because I really loved the images that I took with this, however, the camera itself is very cheap. Unsure what to do in regards to rectifying this!
