This is Trey Sheehan's story. He's just being released from prison, early for good behavior, and finds out the love of his life, and the mother of his child, is getting married the next day.
Trey then shows up at the church before the wedding, not trying to ruin the wedding, just wanting to talk to McKenna to make sure he would still be able to see his son, TJ. After seeing Trey, TJ doesn't want to leave him. One thing leads to another and before you know it Trey is driving away from the church with TJ, and McKenna, before the wedding could take place.
I really enjoyed this story. It was great seeing behind the scenes as to why Trey was the way he was and what happened that ended up with him in jail. I loved how he was with TJ, trying to make up for lost time. Sometimes the "bad boy" isn't really a bad person after all. And sometimes true love really can conquer all.
