Life on the river is sweet
19 November 2015
A physically damaged and emotionally distant Savannah, is on a fast learning curve when she's thrown into looking after her brother's houseboat rental company. Despite her best intentions, she has to rely frequently on the handsome neighbour, Ethan, who is a reclusive ex-serviceman. Her houseboat education is difficult & frustrating, but in the process, Savannah gets used the isolation of river life, & starts to make friends in the local community. Not to mention taking a fancy to Ethan.
There are some strange neighbours, rotten clients, & someone has been spying on her, but she's determined to make her bother's business work. Just when she's getting the hang of it, she'll discover that there is more to fear in Riverboat Point than rowdy customers & and emptying the septic tank. So much more that her life is in danger.
The characters were engaging, but a couple of times I was screaming at Savannah, like you do when a woman on TV is about to walk into an obvious trap.
