I was so excited when this book finally arrived last night and couldn't wait to get stuck into it. This morning I read about a paragraph in before I had to put it down due to eye strain. I thought that when I read the negative reviews about the font, that it wouldn't be an issue for me - but it is. It's SO FAINT that I have to hold it up to my nose to read it (and I don't need reading glasses. If it was all a regular (not light) font, that might have helped, but it's not just the lack of contrast, but the actual font is *known* to not be readable - similar to Comic Sans. The only reason I can think that the publisher went for Tekton Pro Condensed Light is to save money on the ink. Sadly (assuming this was going to be the best book I've bought in years), I threw away the packaging, so returning it is out of the question. I sincerely hope that the Author reads these reviews so that he knows for the next edition not to make the same mistake. (And no, please don't use the excuse that making the text more readable will detract in any way from the diagrams - readers need both for everything to make sense!) PS.. the diagrams are great.. just wish I knew what they were about.
