This series continues to blow me away - so well written with amazing characters, and storylines that will keep you hooked and on the edge of your seat.
Jimmy and Lena's story was darker than the previous ones in the series - namely because Jimmy is dealing with a lot of issues and trying to fix his self destructive behaviour. His past is slowly revealed throughout, and the extent of how much he's done to protect his brother, David, and their band in general comes to light.
Lena is an amazing MC - strong willed but with a big capacity to love. The chemistry and tension between her and Jimmy is palpable, but now she needs to break down the rest of his walls.
Have the tissues ready for this one - I found it more of a tear jerker than the previous books.
Can't wait to read the next book and see what happens with Ben.
Man these Stage Dive men. This book was another addictive read and I really loved how tough Lena was as a character. I'm not too sure how I feel about Jimmy. I didn't particularly like him in the first two books, and although the I don't dislike him, I don't love him as a character either. It was fun to watch his and Lena's relationship play out and for him to realise things about himself, but the best character in this one was Lena herself. I loved her attitude. She's sassy and strong and independent even if she doesn't realise it at times. Not to mention her inner thoughts could be quite hilarious and entertaining. Of course all the Stage Dive regulars are in the book as well, including my beloved Mal. I'm keen to read the next book as it's pretty clear who it's going to be about (even if you haven't already read the blurb). Another fun and quick read from Kylie Scott.
Witty yet emotional, I loved this story about Jimmy and Lena! The classic storyline of a workplace relationship is taken to a whole new level that is uniquely Stage Dive. The banter not only between Jimmy and Lena, but also with all the other band members and their partners was laugh out loud funny! Kylie Scott is a writing genius! Her narrative is hilarious and yet angsty at the same time. My heart laughed with joy and also ached with sorrow. I can't wait to dive into Ben's story!
Kylie Scott certainly has a way about entwining humour into her stories. I really loved Lena's brand of humour in this instalment of the 'Stage Dive' series. Once again the main male character, Jimmy, was hot, if not arrogant to begin with. There is a good chemistry between Jimmy and Lena, Kylie has done well in creating that.
It is also great to have the other characters from the series in this story. Mal is still a crack up.
A good story ..... do yourself a favour - read it.
Jimmy and Lena's story is great with a lot of angst and craziness but what a story! What a series! Fabulous and also leads into the next book of the series which make you want to read so quick to get to the next book, but at the same time have the need to savour the story line! Fabulous amazing read!
Well, I don't usually go for this type of book. Rock Stars and all at my age (55 yrs), but I found this book very well written, hard to put down, and really found myself getting into the characters in the book. All in all, a great story, if of course, not really believable. Every girls dream come true, but even so, enjoyed the book and have ordered the next one.
This one is my favourite so far, love me some Jimmy! Great story and Lena was a fantastic h, loved how she didn't take crap from Jimmy. I usually like story's told from both POV's but Kylie Scott, the awesome Aussie, tells it in such a way that u could feel Jimmy's pain anyway! Love, love, loved it!
Loved it. Love that it wasn't an instant love but something that grew over time. God I wanted to smack him sometimes but he definitely made up for all his assholish behaviour with the way he fell for Lena. , Can't wait for Benny boys story. With have a feeling it's going to be awesome.
Jimmy and Lena, what can we say. This is a beautiful story and funny and loving and heart opening(?). Lena is sweet, strong and oh so sassy. Jimmy is lost, recovering and confused. This was a wonderful story, If I could give it 10 stars I would. Thank you again Kylie Scott, we love the band.
