This is a great book. If you've ever had anything to do with the Aussie music Industry or would like an insight read this. It's funny but doesn't shy away from dealing with the serious issues too. A great book for travelling as it's hard to put down. The only problem is trying not to laugh out loud!
I devoured this book in a week. The protagonist Nina took me on a ride so wild, I'd often need a lie down! She's a complex delusional brat, and she's superb. Valentish is a master at music journalism, I've been reading her magazine articles for a decade now, which gives the work of fiction (or is it?) realistic credibility. Loved it, can't wait for a second read.
