Quirky but Well Worth Reading.

I loved this book, for its quirkiness and true story-telling. It's not a book for everyone, as Ove is gruff, self-centred and rude. It would be easy to give up on him, but I knew this book would be worth pursuing. I laughed and cried and was sorry when the story ended. A true Scandinavian gem. I'd like to see the film, but am afraid I'd be disappointed.
