It is a shame that this is "free" but only part of story so reader needs to purchase part 2 to read whole story. I will buy part 2 as it is reasonably priced. I thought I was getting a freebie but seems this is a ploy to make me buy the book. Mixed feelings as easy to read but not very well written either. Some parts a bit frustrating "not sure would have to check court documents". Most writers do check court documents & ensure facts are accurate when writing a book. Some parts make you want to yell out loud WTF when so many warning signs put down to being niave. Seems to be that the big picture was not explained to avoid this feeling because I wanted to sympathise with the mother and I did but I couldn't help feeling judgemental. Poor little girl should not have had a second & third opportunity to be abused. Seems mother & child needed more support & guidance & was let down by the "system". Mentions being "watched by social services" so why weren't they involved? So many unanswered questions & too much explained as naivety & young age.
