A page turning mystery following a genealogist and his research, finding out so much more by hearing it from the ancestors

Great read. In this book we are introduced to Jefferson Tayte (JT) a genealogist who you quickly grow to like.
The story flicks back and forth between current time and the characters that JT is researching generations earlier.
Both are captivating. Both timelines are captivating and full of characters to both love and hate. They lead you suspensefully through the story then flick back again, but in a way that has you hungering to know more. So whilst JT is learning about the ancestors through his research, we get to be introduced to them and follow their lives directly.
It's difficult to put down and very enjoyable.
