Great memoir to read if you cannot get the bronze horse men series out of your head and heart.
Throughout the book you receive insight of what Leningrad was like in war world 2 and how it had not changed that much since that time. Also you can not help but feel a lot of Paullina in her character Tatiana.
The photographs were great to see as well, as it helped give me more insight into Tatiana and Alexander's world.
