The Signature of All Things was many things
16 September 2014
The Signature of All Things was many things. It was readable. It was sometimes somewhat engaging. The botanical details and framework was fascinating. The characters were diverse. The characters' stories were variable, fluctuating from dull to vibrant to what on earth... The plot and storylines were both predictable and ridiculous. It was possible after a while to see where the story was heading, and despite my "oh no, don't go there" reaction, it did. You could read more or less into Signature of All Things' commentary. I chose less. I wasn't sorry I read this book except for the lingering feeling of being slightly sullied by the experience.
