A fascinating read of one persons life from a teenager to a Victorian Cross recipient. I found Mark Donaldson's story intriguing as well as fascinating as his life was not what you would expect to lead him into the army let alone into the SAS, but after reading the book it becomes obvious. I enjoyed the book being written by him from his perspective with his honesty. Truly an amazing account of what was achieved in Afghanistan by the elite of Australian solders.
One of those books I found hard to put down. If you have read Uncommon Soldier by Chris Masters you will enjoy this book.
