Loved Feyland. Futuristic novel all about interactive computer games. Had a go at a headset the other day that produced virtual reality. So amazing. I felt like I was standing in the world I was seeing. I imagine this was the basis of the novels - only they ended up within the game for real. Seeing virtual reality made Feyland come alive for me... Loved the characters, the storyline, the interaction with the players. All in all, a great young adult read.
This is fun. Don't expect brain food, but it is simple writting telling a simple age old tale of good v evil. The writing travels at an even pace and the characters are likeable. Thanks Anthea. And may I say thanks for bringing back the humble trilogy in these days when series of books can be upwards of 20 or more. It's nice to be able to finish something.
this book had me on the edge of my seat, with the in game characters. its unpredictable, and superbly written, at the end of the last book, i still wanted more! i love fantasy, faeries and magic, and i loved reading this set.
