These three books are all very entertaining with great stories and interesting characters. Heather Boyd does emotional depth so well, that all three books are in the five star category. She is also great at erotic scenes so they feel like a natural step in a relationship rather than just the gratuitous HR bonk scenes. I also like the gay characters..nice to have an author acknowledge that people were gay in every age.
‘Chills’ has great banter between a Marquess and his cheeky ward. It’s the funniest of the three. ‘Broken’ is about not writing people off, no matter how messed up they seem. It’s touching and inspirational. ‘Charity’ is the weakest, with a plot that drags a bit as two men try to fix their relationship mistakes. I like that it deals with romances in two generations, though.
I feel a bit miffed that I bought this for ten times the current price, but you know what? It’s worth it. These are all good quality reading. Recommended for anyone looking for a light romance with an engaging story. Explicit sex scenes make these books better for older readers.
One of my favourite authors. Original plots, lovable characters and steamy passion. Absolutely fell in love with chills and broken. Teared up in areas and kept thinking of the characters afterward. Highly recommend.
