Was really excited to try this product since I have been making a lot of cookies lately. First time I used it the rail at the bottom got screwed up so the swipe thing inside the spoon would only move a tiny bit, I was able to realign the rails but it broke again instantly. Really disappointing.
I’ve never owned a cookie scoop before and I wasn’t sure how much use it would get so I didn’t want to spend a lot. Having said that, I’m very pleased with this scoop. It’s sturdy and easy to use but it might be worth getting a more elaborate one with comfortable grips if you plan to use it frequently or for big batches.
The durability is great so far! I find they are a little difficult to use until you've used them for a few things and cleaning up after meatballs or greasy cookies can be hard but all in all I just love them. This guy was the right size and came with the Wilton tags attached. Love it!
I've been considering getting one of these scoops for a while now, but kept stopping myself because I thought they weren't that useful. After doing some baking today, I am completely in love with this scoop. It's easy to use, comfortable in your hand, and made all of my cookies the exact same size. Seriously, they looked store bought.
I definitely recommend getting a cookie scoop, and I think this one is great.
The way the scoop is designed, it's not very comfortable to use. The handle is a bit awkward as it doesn't allow you to hold the scoop well. I haven't used it for cookie dough yet but on ice cream that is straight out of the freezer, I had a hard time scooping out the hard ice cream. If you let the ice cream melt to a soft consistency then you are able to use the scoop. Wouldn't recommend
