Not really a book!

This is an odd ‘book’! The autobiographical (?) main character is something of a Bali bar-fly. The book doesn’t have a story line - its a series of fights, drinking and yet more fights sometimes with “working girls”, sometimes without. The main character can’t seem to function without having a fight with someone, anyone! Pity it didn’t have the thread of a story-a re-edit to introduce a story line would be positive!

This book is just about the hijinx of the author. Doesn’t tell me much about Bali and some of the stories are stories about nothing. On the plus, it is an easy read.

I can't believe this book made it to print , I bought this book as I was holidaying in bali and wanted to read something different from an expat . The author continually try's to justify his most despicable behaviour , his justification for his behaviour is a common symptom of a psychopath who is clearly deluded . Of all things to fear in bali this type of character is the worst
