Well written and interesting. Told from multiple points of view, including the killer's. Although we don't know who it is until closer to the end. (I'm hopeless at guessing anyway). There's a romance woven through involving Lacey and Jack (pretty much insta-attraction with one or two sizzling scenes) and obviously a lot of setting up of characters that will be starring in other novels to come. I liked Mason, the police detective the most. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in suspense and romance combined. It didn't quite hit the right spot for me to give it five stars, but close. Probably 4.5. I'll be reading the next book in the series for sure and will be going right through this author's back list.
