Dr Joe Dispenza has brought together science and religion in a truly wonderful and informative book. Breaking The Habit of Being Yourself is the book I have been searching for that clearly shows you how to manifest everything you desire with clear instruction. His knowledge of meditation, quantum physics and neuroscience give the reader confidence and a clear understanding of all three and how you can change your life to be the best you imaginable. I was entertained, amazed and excited with every chapter and I loved the case studies and examples of people who overcame their illness, poverty and hardships which has truly inspired me. The book has the best instructions on how to really create the life you want without the "airy fairy waffle" like so many of the self help books I have read. If you want a book that has all the self help books you have ever read in one book with scientific evidence coupled with a belief in a greater consciousness that you can use right now to have whatever you have ever desired in life - then this is the book you have been waiting for.
The first two parts (theoretical part) of the book are amazing, no one ever describe the why in any book, for example: he describes why bad emotions are poison to out body and they can drag illnesses. He also describes why it is easier for us to stuck in the suffering state. Lots more amazing explanations. However, I didn’t like the practical part (this is from my experience as spiritual teacher and councillor), the first reason is that he is suggesting meditating for 20 min at least daily, that is so much for beginner. If I want to reflect on my experience, I started with 3 minutes daily, and there were torturing for me, I increased these minutes upon my ….. . It took me a year to be able to increate it to 15 minutes. Still there are a lot of techniques in the practical part which are really good and helpful .

Finally, a book that gives the scientific background and real practical exercises on how to change the habitual chatter in your head that leads to subconscious habitual actions. Loved it and living it!
Theres great science and wisdom in this book. Joe Dispenza is pleasantly the real deal and communicates his knowledge so well. It was a perfect find for me. Its a seriously enjoyable and rewarding read.
