Like many others before me I expect I haver never gone into my operating systems in depth, preparing to'wing' it and learn as I've gone along knowing full well my knowledge was seriously limited. This book however has dispelled my suspicion that such knowledge was only required by 'geeks'(no insult intended, just a euphanism). The book is well presented, simple to understand and has taken me further along the road to getting the best out of my computer; I'll stick with it as I am,to my surprise, enjoying it.Highly recommended,
After reading this book it was easy to see that Windows 7 is far better than Windows XP. Of course one doesn't have to read an introductory book to use Windows, but it certainly pays off. Goes throuh all important aspects of Windows 7 (as far as I can judge). So I recomend it.
At the rate the computer world changes this book is worth having. Changing from XP to Windows 7 required adabtabilty and perseverance. Having become used to the new system it is easy to use. The book was a great help and has clear explanations. Would recommend this book to any one making the change.
This is an excellent book for those who don't know a lot about Windows I is easy to read and follow directions to get you to where you want to go. I have referred to it often, even though I have good knowledge on Windows. A winner for sure!
