Typical Garner: incisive, unrelentingly critical - of herself as much as of others - and thought provoking, as well as occasionally laugh out loud funny and heart-wrenching. Her consideration of the pitfalls of feminism (as it is espoused by some), and the problems of prioritising ideology over ethics, makes this book a must read as we grapple with the #MeToo phenomenon and all the positives (and negatives) that come with it.
